Yeeesh ony if i were brave enough to work out solid colour together like that.. i'm always relying on the paintbrush having a low opacity--;
Anyways my only crit is the girls hair. Having them in solid locks like that makes her hair seem wet yet strangely flowing with the wind like it was in the water. I can understand if painting her hair like that is the kind of style you want to keep but maybe you could look into a more gentle way of painting her hair? I don't know.. it doesn't seem to work against the smooth colours you have blending in the back behind the hair.
Good stuff anyway, i love the texture of the rock
wooow :0 amazing picture! i love the coloring, especially on the girls hair because of the highlights, and the sky, so many wonderful colors~
the large stone heads are amazing too. the cracks must have taken forever. ~what perfect faces.
this is stunning both in color combinations and the stone faces.. i love the strong lines and the deep shading to the smaller figures. the stone faces with the buildings would stand alone and be a masterpiece.. bravo..
I can believe there's some people here who still think "I wish this was a wallpaper". I mean, how about apreciating a work of art for what it is?! Specially when it is so perfectly achieved as this piece. By far my favorite painting from your gallery. Love the dramatic sky colours...
