This all started out as a way to hide the drop shadow on thumbnails which seemed out of place in an otherwise flat interface. I tried disabling it in Settings, it didn't work. I knew then I would have to do it manually. Once I started messing with deviantart's CSS, I couldn't help but notice how green the entire interface was. I searched high and low for a replacement, but alas, the closest I came was headers that don't even work anymore. I knew then that it was up to me to make things right. I opened up Notepad2 and Operaand got to work.

This is somewhat incomplete. The news section on the mainpage is a mess and various sections of various pages are still green. But hopefully this will bring us one step closer to what deviantart should be: blue.


Some notes on usability:
-The right column is gone in this, so you if used to use it for daily deviation access; you'll have to switch to the features tab
-The header and search bar is gone as well, I found it useless
-This was tested mostly in Opera, not Firefox
-This almost certainly does not work in Internet Explorer or any of it's derivatives
-This will probably stop working on dA's fifth birthday

Update (07.16.05, Opera version): fixed some bugs, minor changes here and there. Notably in the deviation area.
